Healthy no-bake, chocolate peanut butter goodness!
A couple clients of mine (two super awesome sisters) recently made a recipe that was given to them and they fell in LOVE! They were so crazy about the recipe I just had to try it for myself. After a couple easy tweaks I came up with our own family favorite. These “No-bake Oat Bites” are easy to make, super healthy and addictive! Trust me you won’t be able to stop at just one! Have them for breakfast, as a snack, or even “just because.” They’ll keep you full, give you energy and help satisfy that sweet chocolate peanut butter craving without the guilt!
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup Organic Dark Chocolate Covered Quinoa or Dark Chocolate Chips
- 1 cup Old Fashioned Large Flake Oats
- 1/2 cup Chia Seeds
- 1/2 cup Dried Unsweetened Coconut
- 1/2 cup Ground Almonds
- 1/2 cup Ground Flax
- 1 1/4 cup Peanut Butter
- 1/3 cup Honey
Directions:
Thoroughly mix all ingredients together in a bowl, cover and let mixture chill in the fridge. (About 20 minutes.) Once chilled, form the mixture into little balls and gobble them up immediately store in a airtight container in the fridge, making sure to practice moderation having one only when needed to satisfy that sweet tooth. 😉 Enjoy!
These are seriously so easy and fun to make! My munchkins really enjoyed getting their fingers all icky and sticky and then licking them clean. 😉
