I love adding raw cacao powder to my smoothies for all it’s health benefits but what makes my smoothies even better is when I add a little maca powder. Maca root powder can be bitter to taste, but hidden in delicious smoothies is my favourite way to reap all its benefits.
Ingredients:
- 1/4 cup oats (I use Only Oats Gluten-Free Rolled Oats)
- 1 small banana
- 1 tbsp all natural peanut butter
- 1 tbsp raw cacao powder
- 1 tsp maca root powder
- 3 pitted medjool dates
- 1 cup unsweetened silk almond milk
Directions:
- Blend all ingredients in any high powered blender and enjoy!
